Our Mission

Our Mission at Unified Welfare is to empower all through inclusive growth and uplifting to strive towards independence. We are committed to promoting well-being, independence and the development of each child or adolescent in our care whilst fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment. Through the compassion, dedication and respect of all our staff we strive to create a home where every child or adolescent can develop and reach their full potential gaining the skills to transition beyond our care where they can live a fulfilling and meaningful independent life.

OBJECTIVES

  • Employing qualified and compassionate
    staff members who can provide
    personalized care to meet the individual
    needs of children and adolescents.

  • Implement safety protocols, regular
    maintenance checks and security
    measures to safeguard children and
    adolescents from potential risks and
    hazards.

  • Developing and implementing policies
    and practices that promote equality,
    diversity and inclusion within the care
    home. This will include staff training,
    regarding cultural backgrounds,
    disabilities and diverse backgrounds.

  • Offer opportunities for children and
    adolescents to make choices, participate
    in decision making and engage in
    activities that enhance their sense of
    self-worth and identity.

  • Organizing recreational activities, social
    events and cultural programs that
    promote social interaction and positive
    well-being.

  • Implementing effective communication
    strategies to encourage open dialogue,
    active listening and empathy amongst
    children and adolescents, staff and
    families.
